The United Coalition of Ohio Auto Recyclers (UCOAR) fights to protect Ohio auto recyclers and to preserve jobs in Ohio.  We proudly advocate for the local businesses that we represent and the valuable services they provide to consumers across the state.

UCOAR’s members promote and abide by environmentally-conscious practices and strongly support law enforcement.

UCOAR works hard to ensure that proposed legislation serves the best interests of Ohio’s businesses, and we are committed to defending the safety of Ohio’s citizens.

With grassroots support from auto recyclers all across Ohio, UCOAR is mobilizing in opposition to SB 273.  This bill, which was introduced in the Ohio Senate, would open up salvage auto auction pools to unqualified buyers.

This legislation would have many far-reaching and negative impacts for local businesses and the public in Ohio.
